游戏作者采访 1——Love Ribbon 恋爱纽带
前言
Hi,我们是一群游戏汉化志愿者XD,帮助Love Ribbon完成了官方中文的制作。
在汉化过程中,Love Ribbon(恋爱纽带)的作者Olivia接受了我们的采访,我们希望把这篇采访稿分享给大家。

Q1: Besides “An indie game dev and artist”, can you tell us more about yourself?
Q1: 你在网站的自我介绍是“一个独立游戏开发和艺术家”,除此之外能向大家介绍一下你自己嘛?
A1: Well I started out as a creator drawing amateur yuri webcomics back when yuri media was pretty rare. There was nothing like “Sakura Trick”“Citrus” or the popular yuri most people know now. Actually what spurred my main desire to create stories was that I couldn’t find much yuri outside of sad stories where the main character dies or some other bad end, so I was like “well i’ll make my own lol”.
I’ve also been an avid gamer my entire life and I naturally gravitated towards visual novels and haven’t looked back. XD
A1: 最初百合还只是小众题材,那个时候我只是个业余的百合画手。那时候还没有一些大众流行的百合作品,比如说《樱Trick》和《citrus》。实际上,很多故事都是主角死亡,以悲剧收尾!于是这就成为了我创作的契机,从此我下定决心要“写自己的故事”!
我一直都是个狂热的游戏玩家噢,自然而然就对视觉小说很感兴趣,从此一入百合深似海……
Q2: What inspired Love Ribbon at the beginning? How did you come up with this idea?
Q2: 最初创作《Love Ribbon》的灵感是什么呢?怎么想出这个故事呢?
A2: I really wanted to explore a yuri ****** story in a serious way, and explore some of the ramifications of ****** without losing the appeal of a romance story. One of my goals for LR was that they were going to be without a doubt blood related – So I wanted to work that into the story at all costs.
A2: 我很想严肃地探讨百合中的**故事,我希望去探索这种情节的后果,又能让玩家体验到百合的浪漫~总之,《Love Ribbon》的主角们一定要有血缘关系!不管怎么样我都要把它实现了(没错,就是这么任性)!
Q3: Do you like Japnese games and culture? Also Wonder if you can read Japanese XD.
Q3: 你喜欢日本的游戏和文化嘛?好奇你能看懂日文嘛~
A3:I do! I grew up reading Japanese manga and watching anime right when it became a huge “craze” over here in America. My fascination has died down some since then, but I still like to check out new GL series. I don’t speak Japanese, so I’m what you’d call a “weeaboo”
Actually weirdly enough, my favorite genre back then was yaoi(BL)… There was a lot of that at one point.
A3: 超级喜欢!在日系动画洗卷美国的时候,我可是看日本动漫长大的。之后我就没有那么上心了,但还是会去留意各种百合新番。我不会讲日文,所以我大概就是你们说的那种“萌二”吧。
(译者注:Weeaboo原指“A negative term directed to anyone overly obsessed with Japanese culture to the point where they become annoying.Used frequently on the image boards of 4chan.”,个人理解这里大概就是说自己就是西方国家中的萌二,接触大量ACG,深度沉迷吧哈哈哈哈。)说起来奇怪,其实最早我喜欢的是BL……那个时候有很多BL作品。
Q4: Your favourite artist, yuri movie, novel and anime?
Q4: 你最喜欢的艺术家,百合电影,小说和动漫是什么呢?
A4:I usually follow artists for yuri manga. Comaku and Mira do really creative sexy stories. Minase Ruuruu also has a really nice combination of tender and softcore scenes in her stories. My guilty pleasure is Kodama Naoko… The way she draws her characters sensuality is something I can’t get enough of.
For the rest I tend to stick to manga. I haven’t watched many yuri animations outside of Citrus, Valkyrie Drive, Strawberry panic and Simoun.
A4: 我一般会关注不少百合画手,比方说Comaku和Mira画的各种创意性色气作品~Minase Ruuruu的故事情节温柔,场景也不错(译者注:哈哈哈,回头去看看)。我一般会对着小玉老师(代表作:捏造陷阱NTR等)的作品偷着乐,那种色气满满的角色让人欲罢不能啊!
其他的话基本大概就是漫画了,除了《Citrus》,《女武神驱动》,《惊**莓》和《西蒙(Simoun)》之外,我就没怎么看过了。
Q5: How do you get inspiration for character design, stories for your games? Could you tell us a bit about your opinion on game design?
Q5: 在游戏的角色设计和故事情节上,你从哪里获取灵感呢?可以和我们说一下你对游戏设计的看法嘛~
A5: Love Ribbon’s Zoey and Iris were inspired by Marceline and Bubblegum from Adventure Time. In Adventure Time, Marceline is a dark-haired vampire who plays the guitar, while Bubblegum is a pink-haired girl made of candy who is very smart (putting it loosely). I really can’t get enough of the opposites attract dynamic.
A5: 佐伊(Zoey)和Iris(艾瑞丝)的设定灵感来源于《Adventure Time》(《探险活宝》)的Marceline和Bubblegum。Marceline是个黑发吸血鬼吉他手,Bubblegum则是个粉色头发的糖果女孩,她十分聪明。我很萌这种性格差异之间的互动,互相之间有很强的吸引力。

Q7: What games are you playing these days?
Q7: 最近在玩什么游戏呢?
A7: I really love western RPGs. Divinity Original Sin 2 blew my mind. And I’m waiting to play Kingdom Come Deliverance.
My favorite game of last year was Life is Strange; Before the Storm. The atmosphere of those games is something else.
A7: 我超喜欢西方的RPG游戏,《神界:原罪2》超出我的想象,我等着玩《天国:拯救(Kingdom Come Deliverance)》。去年最喜欢的游戏是《奇异人生:风暴前夕》,当然,它是另一种游戏类型啦~
Q8: Any plans for the next project in future?
Q8: 有在规划下一部作品嘛~
A8: Yup! I divide my production into the lighthearted ecchi ones and the more serious yuri works. So I have an ecchi game called Wolf Tails launching soon, and I’m working a yuri eroge called Love Petals where a hopeless romantic gets involved with a sexual deviant girl(Sorry it’s not a Love Ribbon sequel Dx). One of the larger projects I have planned is Queen of the Pack, a yuri-only title about a yuri wolf-girls. Though that wont be out for some time, it’s shaping up to be my biggest work by far.

A8: 有的!我把自己的作品分为轻松的(18x)小品级和严肃的百合题材作品。前者的话,有部叫做《Wolf Tails》的作品即将上线。另外,我正在做一部18x游戏《Love Petals》,讲述一个无可救药的浪漫主义和一个性成瘾少女的故事。(译者注:sexual deviant指的是A person who constatnly has sex on their minds and thinks about different ways to either encounter a sexual act with someone or in any situation make the opposite sex do a sexual act with them. This kind of person is usually very forceful and demanding during anything sexual but can usually get away with it due to their looks or anything hot about them. 因此这里直接翻成性成瘾啦~)抱歉,不是《Love Ribbon》的续作哈哈哈。另一个工程量比较大的作品是《Queen of the Pack》,这个讲述的是百合狼女的故事。因为它是我目前为止做过最大型的游戏,估计不会这么快上线。

Q9: When we read R-18 part, really wonder what’s in the author's mind when they wrote it, like wowwww, how do you make it work? (Emmmm, you’re a girl, right, right? Lol.)
Q9: 我们在翻译18x的情节时,好奇作者写这些剧情的时候脑子里都在想什么……想问你怎么写出来的?(呃,你是个女生吧,对吧对吧哈哈哈。)
A9: I am a girl lol. I try to make the R-18 parts tender and sexy, I really want the characters personality to still come through while they share this intimate moment together. That said, with the lack of voice in my titles I kind of have to get creative with the descriptions. Writing “chu...mm...chu...” in voiceless English doesn’t work as well as it does in Japanese VN. XD
A9: 我是个女生啦哈哈哈,我尽力把18x部分描述得轻柔性感,十分希望能够通过文字描绘出角色的特质。因为游戏没有配音,所以表达有限,我只能在文字上发挥创意啦。英文没有日文那种拟声词,所以自己写了一些“chu……mm……chu……”的清音词。
(译者注:英文中般说的voiceless和voiced,一般会翻译成“清”和“浊”指的是辅音发声时声带是否振动。)
Q10: When we translate this game, omg, it’s soooo sweet, how can you deliver such a lovely story?
Q10: 翻译游戏过程中,我们都觉得故事超甜,你是怎么想出来的呢?
A10: Thank Zetsubou as well for doing most of the heavy lifting! Having him as the main writer was a godsend and he really knows how to move a scene.
A10: 这个就要感谢Zetsubou了,谢谢他做了大部分的工作!有他担任主笔真是一件幸事,他很擅长情节的切入。
Q11: One last question, Anything else you would like to share with Chinese players?
